Michael was called to the bar in 2011. His practice has him advising and appearing in matters in Queensland, interstate and Commonwealth Courts in all criminal matters.

Michael has a particular interest in criminal offences involving computers and information technology.

Prior to his call to the bar, Michael served as Judge's Associate in the District Court to her Honour Judge Ryrie.
