Patrick is a barrister who specialises in criminal law. He also appears in inquests, inquiries and other quasi-criminal proceedings.

Patrick has a broad practice, which predominately involves conducting criminal trials, sentences and appeals in the Supreme, District, and Magistrates courts throughout Queensland.

He represents a diverse client base, defending and prosecuting all manner of charges ranging from serious indictable matters in the superior courts to regulatory prosecutions in the summary jurisdiction.

Prior to being called to the bar, Patrick was a Crown Prosecutor with the Queensland DPP, and also worked as a solicitor with significant experience in litigation dealing with commercial, building and construction, and negligence matters.

 Patrick took silk in 2025.
